Anthurium Doryaki
**white pot not included
🌿 Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sun—it can scorch the leaves. A grow light works well if natural light is limited.
💧 Watering:
Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Let the top inch dry out between waterings. Anthurium doryakii appreciates consistent moisture but despises wet feet.
💨 Humidity & Temperature:
Thrives in high humidity (70%+). A cabinet, humidifier, or regular misting will help prevent crispy leaf edges. Prefers warm temps (65–80°F) and dislikes drafts or cold air.
🌱 Soil:
Needs a chunky, airy, and fast-draining mix to keep roots happy.
-
Tank's Green Stuff: Works great if amended with orchid bark and perlite to loosen it up.
-
FoxFarm Happy Frog: Already rich and organic, but also needs added perlite, pumice, or bark for aeration.
A mix of Happy Frog + extra chunky additives = excellent support for epiphytic roots. This plant also enjoys semi-hydroponics like Leca or Pon
🍽️ Fertilizer:
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer (diluted to half strength). Reduce or stop in cooler months.
🪴 Extra Tips:
Wipe leaves occasionally to let them breathe. If you're lucky and patient, those long leaves can become really dramatic over time. Slow grower, but worth it!
