6" Monstera Mint
Monstera Mint is a rare and highly sought-after variegated Monstera with a beautiful marbled mint-green pattern. It requires similar care to other variegated Monsteras but with extra attention to lighting and watering.
Light
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain its stunning variegation. Too much direct sun can burn the leaves, while low light may cause slower growth and loss of variegation.
Watering
It’s important to let the soil dry slightly between waterings. Before watering, check that the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so always use a well-draining soil mix.
Soil & Potting
For the best growth, use a high-quality, well-draining soil mix. We recommend Tank’s Green Stuff or Fox Farms potting soil, both of which provide excellent aeration and nutrients. A mix containing orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss is ideal.
Humidity & Temperature
Monstera Mint loves high humidity (60%+). A humidifier can help keep the environment optimal. Keep temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) and avoid cold drafts.
Fertilizing
During the growing season (spring and summer), fertilize every 4-6 weeks using a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength to support healthy growth.
Support & Pruning
Use a moss pole or trellis to support climbing. Regularly prune any damaged or yellowing leaves to keep the plant looking its best.
Propagation
Propagate by taking stem cuttings with at least one node and placing them in water or soil.
With proper care, well-draining soil like Tank’s Green Stuff or Fox Farms, and allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings, your Monstera Mint will flourish and maintain its beautiful variegation! 🌿
