Light
  • Place your plant in bright, indirect light.
  • Filtered sunlight helps maintain its unique yellow variegation.
  • Avoid harsh direct sun, which can burn the sensitive yellow parts of the leaves.
    • Watering
  • Let the top 50% to 75% of the soil dry out completely before you water again.
  • Overwatering causes edema, which bruises and browns the yellow leaf patches.
  • Use a chunky, well-draining aroid soil mix (with perlite, bark, and coco husk) to prevent root rot.
    • Humidity and Temperature
  • Keep the ambient temperature between 65°F and 85°F (18°C–29°C).
  • Provide moderate to high humidity (60% to 80% is ideal).
  • Use a room humidifier or group it with other plants if your home air is dry.
    • Growth and Maintenance
  • Provide a moss pole or trellis since this is a climbing aroid variety.
  • Fertilize monthly during the active spring and summer growing season.
  • Note that this plant is toxic and unsafe for cats and dogs if ingested
