Light and Temperature
Bright indirect light:
Keeps the white, green, and golden marbling crisp.
Medium light:
Tolerated well, though the bright leaf colors may soften. Avoid harsh direct sun which can burn the leaves.
Room warmth:
Best kept in normal indoor temperatures between 60°F and 80°F.
Watering and Soil
Top inch rule:
Water thoroughly only when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry.
Prevent root rot:
Never let the pot sit in standing water or soggy soil.
Potting mix:
Use a loose, fast-draining indoor potting soil.
Maintenance and Safety
Feeding:
Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer once a month during spring and summer.
Pruning:
Cut back long, leggy vines just above a leaf node to encourage a fuller, bushier look.
Pet warning:
Toxic if eaten by cats or dogs
